Camping
Camping Borvo is run by Sandra and Mark van Stokkom, who live on the grounds themselves. In addition to our old French farm, there are also two beautiful and furnished safari tents. The grounds include a modern sanitary block and there are 26 pitches with electricity. Free WiFi is available at the bar. The river Somme borders the grounds to the rear. There you can fish for trout or enjoy a refreshing paddle. A babbling brook, situated at the west side of the grounds flows into it. Animals such as foxes and deer are regularly seen. Many birds have also been spotted such as the kingfisher, oriole, bee-eater and buzzard.
Terrace and bar Tea, coffee, beverages and ice cream are served in our bar and on the adjoining terrace. In the bar we have a large reading table, a library and a variety of boardgames available for use. It is possible to borrow Jeu de Boules balls or a golf set. You can register for the shared meal on Monday and Friday, the pizza on Wednesday and the BBQ on Saturday. The concept of the BBQ is that you provide the food yourself. We turn on the BBQ and bake fries for the enthusiasts. You order the drinks in the bar.
Reception In the reception you can find information about the area as well as cycling and hiking routes. You can order bread 7 days a week. Order before 5:30 p.m. and it is ready to pick up from 8 a.m. in the bread rack at the number of your location. Because of the septic tank, the use of chemical cleaning products is prohibited. Aqua Kem Green can be purchased from us for the chemical toilet. We don’t have an ATM. You can pay in cash or via online banking.
